Merino
Merino is a high-quality wool obtained from Merino sheep, which are native to Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, and South Africa. Merino sheep are a special breed known for their particularly fine wool. Merino wool is soft, fine, and highly crimped.
Properties:
Merino wool is temperature-regulating, antibacterial, and breathable. It also neutralises unpleasant odours and wicks moisture away from the skin. Merino wool warms in winter and cools in summer.
Areas of Application:
Merino wool is used in a wide range of products, including underwear, socks, sweaters, hats, scarves, and outdoor clothing. It is widely popular in both leisure activities and personal protective equipment.
